摘要

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the chemical constituents from the fruits of Illicium micranthum and their neuroprotective ac-tivities.Methods:The 95%ethanol extract from the fruits of Illicium micranthum was isolated and purified by using MCI-gel,silica gel column chromatography,and semi-preparative HPLC.The structures were identified by using techniques such as NMR and MS.The neu-roprotective activities of these compounds were assessed by using the corticosterone(CORT)-induced PC12 cell damage model.Results:Four compounds were isolated from the fruits of Illicium micranthum and identified as illicranthin A(1),spathulatol(2),icariside E4(3),isolariciresinol(4),respectively.Conclusion:Among them,compound 1 is a new compound,compounds 2 to 4 are isolated from Il-licium micranthum for the first time.Compounds 1 and 2 can inhibit CORT-induced PC12 cell injury and have weak neuroprotective ac-tivities.
