Abstract
Objective To investigate the impact of comprehensive nursing on the recovery of muscle function and quality of life in hemodialysis patients with sarcopenia. Methods A total of 98 hemodialysis patients with sarcopenia were enrolled from Zhongda Hospital Southeast University between June 2021 and May 2024.According to the blue and white ball method, all patients were allocated to either Group A(n=49,blue ball, receiving routine nursing)or Group B(n=49,white ball, receiving comprehensive nursing). The recovery of muscle function(grip strength,6-meter walk velocity, skeletal muscle mass[SMM]),nutrition-related indicators(total protein, albumin, body weight, body fat mass[BFM]),psychological resilience(Chinese version of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale[CD-RISC]),and quality of life(World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF Scale[WHOQOL-BREF])were compared between the two groups. Results After 12 weeks of nursing, the grip strength,6-meter walk velocity,SMM level, total protein level, albumin level,BFM,CD-RISC scores, and WHOQOL scores of the two groups increased significantly, and Group B showed higher levels compared with Group A,with statistically significant differences observed for all parameters(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of comprehensive nursing in hemodialysis patients with sarcopenia can promote muscle function recovery, improve nutrition-related indicators, and enhance psychological resilience and quality of life.关键词
