Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of guiding patients with uremia undergoing hemodialysis(HD)combined with hemoperfusion(HP)to practice internal arteriovenous fistula exercises and its impact on their upper limb motor function.Methods One hundred patients with uremia receiving HD combined with HP were recruited from Jianhu People's Hospital between February 2021 and January 2024.They were divided into two groups of 50 patients each using a random number table:a control group(receiving routine intervention)and an observation group(receiving internal arteriovenous fistula exercises).The score of Motor Status Scale(MSS)of upper limbs,frequency of Arm Curl Test(ACT),blood flow velocity of internal arteriovenous fistula,serum creatinine(Scr)level,score of Short Form-36 Health Survey(SF-36),and score of Tilburg Frailty Indicator(TFI)were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results After 16 weeks of intervention,the observation group showed significant improvements in MSS score,ACT frequency,internal arteriovenous fistula blood flow velocity,and SF-36 score compared with pre-intervention levels,with all outcomes significantly better than those of the control group.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Scr level and TFI score in the observation group decreased significantly compared with pre-intervention levels,and these indicators were lower than those in the control group.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of internal arteriovenous fistula exercises can enhance the upper limb motor function and blood purification adequacy in patients with uremia undergoing HD combined with HP,and improve the physical fitness and quality of life of patients.关键词
