Abstract
Objective To explore and analyze the risk factors and their predictive efficacy for superficial venous throm-bosis in patients with lower extremity varicose veins. Methods A total of 213 patients with lower limb deep vein varices ad-mitted to Wuhan Third Hospital were selected from April 2021 to June 2023 as the study subjects. They were divided into a group with superficial vein thrombosis(n=65,30.52%)and a group without superficial vein thrombosis(n=148,69.48%).Clin-ical data of patients were collected to analyze risk factors for lower limb varicose veins complicated by superficial vein thrombosis.ROC curves were drawn to analyze the predictive efficacy of these factors. Results Age ≥65 years, body mass index ≥25.04 kg/m2,cerebral infarction, and Clinical-Etiology-Anatomy-Pathophysiology(CEAP)classification C4 or higher were independent risk factors for superficial venous thrombosis in patients with lower extremity varicose veins[OR(95%CI)=3.582(2.482-6.313),6.923(5.141-7.781),5.669(4.521-7.783),and 6.413(5.682-8.452),respectively,all P<0.05].ROC curve analysis showed that the combination of age, body mass index,CEAP classification, and cerebral infarc-tion had higher sensitivity(0.937)and specificity(0.928)in predicting superficial venous thrombosis in patients with lower ex-tremity varicose veins compared to any single factor alone. Conclusion Patients with lower extremity varicose veins have a high incidence of concurrent superficial venous thrombosis, which is influenced by factors such as age, body weight,cere-bral infarction, and CEAP classification. The combination of different risk factors can achieve high predictive sensitivity and specificity.Clinically, interventions can be tailored based on these factors to reduce the incidence of superficial venous thrombosis.关键词
