摘要

Abstract

According to the demand of co-firing ammonia in coal-fired boiler for carbon emission reduction,progress in experimental and numerical simulation research of coal-ammonia co-firing is reviewed.For experimental research,fundamental experiments of ignition and flame propagation,kW and MW scale tests for developing efficient and low-NO,combustion technology,and industrial tests in practical boilers are introduced in turn.For numerical simulation research,kinetic models for ammonia combustion and numerical simulation methods for coal-ammonia co-firing based on/independent of the present CFD software are subsequently introduced,and studies for industrial boiler are also simmarized and and analyzed.Based on the present research progress,coal-ammonia co-firing is confirmed to be technically realizable,whereas improvement in numerical simulation methods is still in need.
