Abstract
Based on the energy consumption characteristics of coal-fired units and the rules of the ancillary services market,the economic analysis of the cost and compensation generated by deep peak shaving for a 660 MW ultra supercritical unit in Anhui Province is conducted through performance tests and thermal calculations.The results shows that the net coal con-sumption rate increases by 11.5 g/(kW·h)and 36.6 g/(kW·h)under 40%and 30%loads compared to the compensated peak shaving benchmark load,leading to a significant dateriora-tion in economic performance.The rise in energy consumption drives up both coal costs and carbon amission.Taking into account peak shaving compensation,the overall economic bene-fits of the units participating in deep peak shaving are considerable.The estimated annual revenue for the example unit participating in deep peak shaving is about 35.43 million yuan under the current peak shaving intensity.关键词
