Abstract

Nowadays,the treatment and disposal of typical organic municipal solid waste(MSW)such as construction waste combustibles,logistics packaging waste and municipal sewage sludge are particularly prominent.Co-incineration can achieve the efficient and clean transformation of MSW,which is one of the major measures for the construction of"Zero-Waste City"and orderly promotion of circular economy to help reduce carbon.In this paper,polyethylene and pine wood chips were selected as combustibles of logistics packaging waste and construction waste,and their co-incineration kinetics with municipal sewage sludge and emission characteristics of gaseous pollutants(NOx and SO2)were studied.The results show that the co-incineration reactivity of municipal sewage sludge can be improved by adding pine chips,and the co-incineration ratio of polyethylene should be controlled.The high temperature was not conducive to the control of NO and SO2 in the co-incineration process,and the increase of polyethylene co-incineration ratio led to the increase of NO emission.Therefore,combined with the gaseous pollutant emission characteristics of the co-incineration process,the optimal incineration temperature was recommended to be controlled in the range of 850-900 ℃.
