健步虎潜丸加减治疗阴阳两虚型2型糖尿病合并骨质疏松的临床疗效观察
Clinical Efficacy of Modified Jianbu Huqian Pills in Treating Yin-Yang Deficiency Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Osteoporosis

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of modified Jianbu Huqian pills in treating yin-yang deficiency Type 2 dia-betes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with osteoporosis(OP).Methods:A cohort of 110 eligible patients presenting with the aforemen-tioned conditions was enrolled from Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine between January 2021 and February 2024.They were randomly allocated to either a control group(n=55)receiving standard conventional Western pharma-cotherapy,or an observation group(n=55)receiving the standard therapy supplemented with the modified Jianbu Huqian Pill.The in-tervention period spanned 6 months for both groups.Assessments included comparative analyses of overall clinical effectiveness,TCM syndrome scores,fasting blood glucose(FBG),hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2hPG),bone-specific alkaline phosphatase(BALP),total alkaline phosphatase(ALP),β-C-terminal telopeptide of type I collagen(β-CTX),serum calci-um(Ca)levels,bone mineral density(BMD)at the lumbar spine(L1-L4),femoral trochanter,femoral neck,and total hip,as well as the incidence of adverse events.Results:The observation group demonstrated a significantly higher overall response rate compared to the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,both groups exhibited reductions in TCM syndrome scores,all measured glycemic indi-ces,BALP,ALP,and β-CTX levels,with the observation group showing more pronounced decreases(P<0.05).Conversely,serum Ca levels and BMD values at all skeletal sites increased in both groups,with significantly greater improvements observed in the observa-tion group(P<0.05).No statistically significant difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The adjunctive use of the modified Jianbu Huqian Pill formula with conventional treatment effectively alleviates clinical symptoms,improves glycemic control,and positively modulates bone metabolism and density in T2DM patients with OP of the dual yin-yang deficiency pattern,demonstrating a favorable safety profile.关键词
