摘要
Abstract
Objective:To systematically analyze the current status and changing trends of death risk from global lip and oral cavity cancer(LOCC),so as to provide scientific reference for formulating precise prevention and control strategies. Methods:Based on data from the Global Burden of Disease(GBD)Study 2021,core indicators including LOCC incidence,mortality,disability-adjusted life years(DALYs),and gender-stratified age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR),age-standard-ized mortality rate(ASMR),age-standardized DALYs rate(ASDR)were extracted from 204 countries and territories worldwide spanning 1990~2021.Multidimensional statistical analyses were conducted using methods such as the GBD standard popula-tion distribution method, linear regression, biaxial analysis, decomposition analysis, and the socio-demographic index(SDI)-incorporated frontier model. Results:From 1990 to 2021,global LOCC incidence showed significant regional heterogeneity, gender differences were particularly prominent among older populations, and age factors had a significant impact on female in-cidence in East Asia.High-SDI countries(e.g.,Australia,Japan)exhibited decreasing trends in incidence, mortality, and DALYs,while the burden continued to rise in low-and middle-SDI regions, with a marked increase in disease burden among older populations.Population growth, aging, and epidemiological changes contributed differently to the disease burden across genders and regions. Conclusion:LOCC remains a major public health issue, and its burden is influenced by multiple factors including gender, age, region, and social development level.Formulating targeted interventions and personalized public health strategies is crucial for narrowing sociodemographic disparities and reducing the global LOCC burden.关键词
