Abstract
To screen high-quality potato varieties suitable for local cultivation,optimize variety layout,and promote high-quality industrial development,this study selected 11 main varieties and conducted a field comparison experiment in Danna Village,Zhengchang Town,Suining County in 2025.A randomized block design was adopted to systematically measure the plant morphological characteristics,tuber traits,yield,marketable tuber rate,and taste quality of each vari-ety,and monitor the occurrence of late blight.The results showed that Wiyu 7 had the best overall performance,an av-erage yield of 3 122 kg/667 m2,a43.1%increase compared to the control variety Feiurita(CK),a marketable tuber rate of 87.6%,a taste score of 82.16 points,and high resistance to late blight(disease rate<10%,disease index<8.0),with strong field adaptability.Qianyu 9 and Xisen 6 ranked second and third in overall performance,respective-ly.Among them,Qianyu 9 had a yield of 2 865 kg/667 m2 and a marketable tuber rate of 91.2%,while Xisen 6 had a marketable tuber rate as high as93.0%.Both showed outstanding yield potential and commercial value.Although the control variety Feiurita had strong early maturity and a marketable tuber rate of 86.6%,it had a high incidence of late blight(disease rate42.3%,disease index38.6),with a relatively high production risk.The results of this study can provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the scientific selection,promotion and application of potato varieties in Suining County,as well as for improving the quality and efficiency of the industry.关键词
