Abstract
Microalgae are rich in high-quality proteins,lipids,and bioactive compounds(such as ω-3 poly-unsaturated fatty acids,pigments,and β-1,3-glucans),which can serve as promising alternatives to fishmeal and fish oil in aquaculture feeds.These bioactive compounds can also be utilized as feed additives to enhance the growth and immune health of aquatic animals.This review provides an overview of the current applications and research progress of microalgae and associated bioactive substances in aquaculture feed.It evaluates the advantages and limitations of microalgae as a replacement for conventional feed ingredients and explores future directions in the development of novel aquafeeds,focusing on biotechnological advance-ments to enhance productivity and industrial applications.The findings offer valuable theoretical insights and practical guidance for related research and applications.关键词
