Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of low crude protein(CP)diet supplementation with valine and isoleucine on the growth performance,serum biochemical indexes and nutrient apparent digest-ibility in weaning and finishing pigs.Experiment one:a total of 240 weaned piglets were randomly allocated to 4 groups:control group(T1),low CP group(T2),and low CP+valine and isoleucine group(T3 group:low CP diet supplementation with 1.0 g/kg valine and 0.50 g/kg isoleucine,T4 group:low CP diet supplementa-tion with 1.7 g/kg valine and 1.0 g/kg isoleucine),and the experiment lasted for 21 d.Experiment two:a total of 105 finishing pigs were allocated to 3 groups:control group(T1),low CP+valine and isoleucine group(T3 group:low CP diet supplementation with 0.55 g/kg valine and 0.60 g/kg isoleucine,T4 group:low CP diet supplementation with 1.05 g/kg valine and 1.25 g/kg isoleucine),and the experiment lasted for 21 d.The results showed as follows:experiment one,compared with T1,T2 showed lower(P<0.01)final body weight,average daily gain(ADG),diarrhea rate and diarrhea index;compared with T2,T3 and T4 showed higher(P<0.01).Final body weight,ADG,diarrhea rate and diarrhea index in weaned piglets.Compared with T1,T3 had lower(P<0.05)serum total protein(TP)content,T2 and T3 showed lower(P<0.05)serum low density lipoprotein(LDL)content,T2 and T4 showed lower(P<0.05)serum triglyceride(TG)con-tent in weaned piglets T2,T3 and T4 showed lowe(P<0.01)apparent digestibility of crude fiber(CF)in weaned piglets.Experiment two,Compared with T1,T3 had higher(P<0.01)serum TP content and higher,apparent digestibility of dry matter(DM),ether extract(EE),CF and phosphorus(P)in finishing pigs.In con-clusion,reducing dietary CP dramatically decreased the growth performance in weaned piglets.However,valine and isoleucine supplementation could compensate for the effects of low protein on the growth perfor-mance,immunological function,serum biochemical indexes in weaned piglets,and nutrient digestion and absorption in finishing pigs.关键词
