中国大陆新发现红树林外来入侵害虫——双齿材小蠹
A newly invasive alien pest,Xyleborus bidentatus(Motschulsky,1863),discovered in mangrove forests in Chinese mainland
摘要
Abstract
Xyleborus bidentatus(Motschulsky,1863)was first discovered in mangrove ecosystems in Zhanjiang,Guangdong province and Hepu,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,China.This pest mainly infests Avicennia marina,which is the most important component of mangrove plants in China,likely causing the withering and death of branches or the whole plant when its population is very high.The morphological characteristics of this pest were briefly introduced and photos of its morphology and damage symptoms were provided.This pest has posing a potential risk to mangrove forests.Analyzing the mechanism of the outbreak of X.bidentatus and the direct cause of the death of A.marina is an urgent problem that needs to be solved.关键词
