Correlation Analysis of Syndrome Types in Traditional Chinese Medicine with Clinical Indicators and Pathological Grading in IgA Nephropathy

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the correlation between different in syndrome types traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)of IgA nephropathy and clinical indicators as well as Oxford pathological classification.Methods:A total of 150 patients diagnosed with IgA nephropathy were included.Information on TCM four diagnostic methods,clinical and pathological data was collected.The correlation between each TCM syndrome type and laboratory indicators and patho-logical grading was analyzed.Results:The levels of serum creatinine and 24 h urine protein quantification in the Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency Syndrome group were higher than those in other syndrome type groups,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The proportion of tubular atrophy/interstitial fibrosis(T1/T2)in the Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency Syndrome group was higher than that in other syndrome type groups,with extremely significant statistical differences(P<0.01).24 h urine protein quantification was significantly correlated with S1 and T1/T2(P<0.01);serum creatinine was significantly correlated with S1(P<0.05)and extremely significantly correlated with T1/T2(P<0.01);serum IgM was significantly correlated with S1(P<0.05);serum IgG was extremely significantly correlated with T1/T2(P<0.01).Binary Logistic regression analysis indicated that serum creatinine(B=0.016,P=0.024)and Oxford pathological classification T(B=1.086,P=0.036)were influencing factors of Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency Syndrome,and the correlation was positive.Conclusion:Different TCM syndrome types of IgA nephrop-athy are correlated with clinical and pathological indicators.关键词
