Breeding and selection of a series of superior clonal lines of Zhengcheng macadamia nut
摘要
Abstract
The Zhengcheng series of excellent clones have the characteristics of early production,large quantity of flowers,high output and good quality.The average weights of green-skinned fruit,shelled fruit and kernel were 25.92 g,13.29 g,and 2.85 g,respectively.Quality analysis showed that the average protein content in kernels was 9.53％,and the average crude fat content was as high as 77.05％.The average seed yield of the Zhengcheng series was 50.98％,and the average kernel yield was 36.3％.In the 4th to the 5th year,the trees entered the peak fruiting stage,with an average yield of 523 kg of green peel fruits per 667 m2.The tree performance remained good and stable,without alternate bearing phenomenon.It is tolerant to poor soil condi-tions and has strong resistance to drought,cold,disease and pest.关键词
