Abstract
To assess the influence scope of pump station water intake on channel safety and determine the optimal length of the water intake pipeline,numerical simulations were conducted in this study.Six simulation scenarios were designed for both water in take and non-intake conditions,with varying distances between the intake pipe inlet and the channel bottom slab,to investigate the nu merical magnitude and spatial range of pressure variations induced by the intake pipeline within the channel.The results demonstrate that the pipeline has negligible effects on the internal pressure distribution of the channel when no water is withdrawn.In contrast,abrupt pressure fluctuations occur at the inlet of the pumping pipe during water intake,and the pressure disturbance propagates outward in a concentric annular pattern centered at the pipe inlet.According to the simulation findings,it is recommended that the distance between the inlet of the pumping pipe and the channel bottom slab should be no less than 1.00 m.关键词
