Electromagnetically Induced Transparency under Phase Control in Microsphere Cavities

Abstract
Electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)is a coherent interference effect that holds significant value in applications such as slow light,nonlinear enhancement,and high-sensitivity optical sensing.In this work,for the optical system composed of a microsphere cavity,a coupled waveguide,and a partial reflection loop,the analytical expression of the steady-state trans-mission spectrum is derived,and the role of the reflection phase in modulating the behavior of EIT is revealed.The results show that by tuning the phase,one can not only enable or suppress EIT,but also flexibly control the symmetry and splitting characteristics of the spectral lines.Furthermore,a phase-driven parameter space diagram is presented,which clearly delineates the conditions for the existence and transitions of EIT in different regions.These findings provide a new theoretical basis for on-chip spectral engineering,as well as the design of tunable filters and high-sensitivity sensing devices based on phase control.关键词
