摘要

Abstract

[Objective]A high-quality hybrid rice resistant to both blast and blight was bred.[Method]African rice NERICA was firstly crossed with the high-quality 3027 to obtain outstanding individual plants for further crossing with R527.Through subsequent multi-generation pedigree selection for disease resistance variety,the restorative line Fuhui 686 was secured as male parent to combine with female parent,the two-line sterile white-leaf-blight-resistant rice with high mating ability,He 9S,for the final stage of hybridization. The newly bred rice was verified for disease resistance and analyzed for quality at sites of varied ecological characteristics for several years.[Result]After years of careful evaluation at various sites,Heliangyou 686 resistant to both rice blast and blight diseases was successfully selected. The planted crops performed uniformly with broad adaptability,strong resistance to stress,high yield,and high-quality grains.[Conclusion]The newly bred high-yield,high-quality Heliangyou 686 were resistant to both rice blast and white-leaf-blight. It was considered suitable for extended cultivation in Fujian.
