摘要

Abstract

The development of simple and reliable sensors for on-site detection of ethylenediamine(EDA)vapor can sig-nificantly mitigate its potential threats to human health,public safety,and environmental sustainability.However,the cur-rent complexity of detection processes poses a major obstacle to the future development of on-site EDA vapor detection technology.A flexible hydrogel sensor loaded with phenothiazine-based sensing reagent(PTA)is proposed,which is in-tegrated into a portable smartphone-assisted detector.The hydrogel sensor can be easily attached to laboratory coats and protective masks,enabling personnel to rapidly determine the concentration of EDA vapor in their environment by ob-serving changes in the fluorescence color of the hydrogel sensor or through the portable sensing platform.This facilitates the timely implementation of effective safety measures.The portable hydrogel-based sensing platform holds promise for providing new insights into advancing on-site detection of EDA vapor.
