摘要

Abstract

Membrane separation technology has become a key development direction of carbon capture due to its advantages of low energy consumption,small footprint and high operational flexibility.Membrane module is the smallest unit to achieve separation in industrial membrane separation process.It's also the"bridge"connecting laboratorial research and industrial application.Thus,the membrane module plays a significant role in the industrialization process of membrane technology for carbon capture.This review summarized the research progress of membrane modules for industrial carbon capture applications according to the order of plate-and-frame membrane module,spiral-wound membrane module and hollow fiber membrane module.For each type of module,the regulation of module structure and operation parameters,and their industrialization progress were reviewed.Then their current challenges and solutions were analyzed.Finally,from the perspective of common challenges of membrane modules and industrial application design,the future development direction of membrane modules for industrial carbon capture was prospected.The purpose of the review was to provide references for the research of membrane modules,to promote the development of membrane technology for carbon capture and to contribute to the realization of carbon emission reduction targets.
