摘要
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the feasibility and safety of the domestically produced Carina™ modular laparoscopic surgical robot in robotic nipple-sparing mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction(RNSMIBR).Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 7 female breast cancer patients who underwent RNSMIBR using the Carina™ modular laparoscopic surgical robot at the Department of Breast Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 11 to June 16,2025.Intraoperative efficiency, complication rates, postoperative recovery, and patient experience were systematically evaluated.Postoperative outcomes were evaluated using multidimensional metrics including Clavien-Dindo classification, the Wong-Baker faces pain rating scale-revised(FPS-R),and the BREAST-Q questionnaire.Subjective ratings on the robotic system's stability, latency, and flexibility were made by surgeons. Results:All 7 cases of surgery were completed successfully without conversion to open surgery. The robotic operative time under unilateral breast endoscope was(68.57±10.69)min,with a postoperative length of hospital stay of(8.00±1.00)d.No Clavien-Dindo≥Grade Ⅰ complications were observed.FPS-R scores at 24 h and on day 4 after surgery ranged from 2 to 6.BREAST-Q results indicated high level of patient satisfaction with postoperative breast appearance and favorable psychological status.Surgeon evaluations indicated high system stability,no significant operational delays, excellent robotic arm flexibility, and overall superior performance. Conclusion:The domestically developed modular laparoscopic surgical robot Carina™ has promising feasibility and safety in RNSMIBR for breast cancer.Patients showed favorable postoperative recovery and positive surgical experiences, providing robust support for advancing minimally invasive and aesthetic breast surgery in China and promoting the adoption of domestically produced robotic surgical systems.关键词
