摘要

Abstract

Microbial seed coating agents are seed treatment formulations containing functional microorganisms(with disease-preventing,insect-resistant,growth-promoting,and stress-tolerant properties)and their metabolites.They can colonize the rhizosphere of crops during the seed germination and seedling growth stages,and/or secrete antagonistic sub-stances and other means to promote crop growth,prevent crop diseases and insect pests,and enhance crop stress resist-ance.As issues such as crop resistance to chemical pesticides and the environmental compatibility of chemical pesticides become increasingly prominent,microbial seed coating agents have become a research hotspot due to their green advanta-ges.A review was presented on the research and application progress of microbial seed coating agents,including their types,mechanism of action,and development history.Additionally,the challenges encountered in the development of mi-crobial seed coating agents and the expected research directions were discussed.
