普通小麦山红麦白粉病成株抗性遗传分析
Genetic analysis of adult plant resistance to powdery mildew in common wheat Shanhongmai
摘要
Abstract
Powdery mildew is one of the most destructive wheat diseases worldwide, seriously threatening the crop yield and quality. The use of resistant wheat cultivars is the most effective and sustainable approach to control the dis-ease.Identifying and using resistant loci is essential for maintaining durable powdery mildew resistance.Shanhongmai is a wheat landrace in China, which shows typical adult-plant resistance to powdery mildew. To understand the genetic basis of the resistance,a dihaploid(DH)population of 224 lines was developed from the cross between Shanhongmai and sus-ceptible cultivar Yangmai15.A 55K SNP chip was used to genotype the DH population, and a total of 7 716 polymorphic SNPs was mapped onto 21 linkage chromosomes, representing all 21 wheat chromosomes, with a total genetic distance of 4 119.515 cM.QTL analysis was performed with IciMapping 4.1 based on the genotypic data and three years of powdery mildew phenotypic data, and three loci, conferring adult plant resistance from Shanhongmai on chromosome arms 4BL and 7AL(two QTL),named QPm.jaas-4B、QPm.jaas-7A-1 and QPm.jaas-7A-2 and one locus from Yangmai15 on chromo-some 5BS,named QPm.jaas-5B,were identified. Those QTL can explain the disease severity variation from 7.8%to 10.3%.This study can provide important references for identifying and cloning novel powdery mildew resistance genes,develo-ping corresponding molecular markers for breeding assisted selection, and enhancing resistance to wheat powdery mildew.关键词
