Abstract

Xiaotashan Reservoir is a large artificial reservoir in Lianyungang City with multiple functions,playing a crucial role in maintaining urban water resource security and stabilizing water supply.Water quality and eutrophication level of Xiaotashan Reservoir from 2017 to 2024 were evaluated using the single-factor evaluation method and the Trophic State Index(TSI)method.Pearson correlation analysis of the factors influencing the trophic state index was carried out using SPSS Pro.The results show that water quality indicators in Xiaotashan Reservoir exhibited different trends in recent years.The overall water quality was generally good,and a significant improvement was observed in 2024 compared with the period 2020-2022.Water temperature and nutrient salts such as nitrogen and phosphorus were identified as key factors affecting reservoir eutrophication.
