Abstract
Objective To evaluate the long-term effectiveness of this surgical procedure by studying the changes of angle structural parameters of primary angle closure glaucoma(PACG)patients who underwent phacoemulsification catatact surgery combined with goniosynechialysis.Methods This was a retrospective study.45 PACG patients 45 eyes.Collecting all Iop and AS-OCT images of these patients(included before surgery,at 1 month and 1 year after the surgery in this study).Organizing these parameters data.Measurement parameters included anterior chamber depth(ACD),anterior chamber angle 500 μm(ACA500),angle opening distance 500 μm(AOD500),angle opening distance at 750 μm(AOD750),trabecular-iris space area 500 μm(TISA500),trabecular-iris space area 750 μm(TISA750).Analyzed the changes of these parameters before and after the surgery,compare the differences in these parameters at differene time.Re-sults 45 patients underwent phacoemulsification combined with goniosynechialysis.None of them were on intraocular pressure(IOP)-lowering medication postoperatively.Postoperative IOP was significantly lower than preoperative IOP(P<0.0001).The difference in IOP at one month postoperatively compared to one year postoperatively was not statistically sig-nificant(P>0.05).Postoperative angle structural parameters:ACD,ACA500,AOD500,AOD750,TISA500,TISA750 were all increased significantly compared to the preoperative period.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.0001).Differences in individual these angle structural parameters at one month postoperatively compared with one year postoperatively were not statistically significant(P>0.05).All parameters are negatively correlated with IOP.Conclu-sions The IOP of patients with primary angle closure glaucoma had a reduction after undergoing phacoemulsification com-bined with goniosynechialysis,and these angle structural parameters,were significantly increased compared to preopera-tive.The difference between 1 month and 1 year after the surgery was not significant,indicating that the Phaco+IOL+GSL has a long-term impact,and that this operation can be used to treat PACG by restoring the functionality of the channel of aqueous humor.关键词
