Pathologic diagnosis and risk evaluation in breast ductal carcinoma in situ:from basic research to clinical practice
摘要
Abstract
With the widespread implementation of breast cancer screening programs,the detection rate of ductal carcinoma in situ(DCIS)has increased significantly.Although the risk of recurrence among patients with DCIS is het-erogeneous,current clinical management strategies often lack risk stratification and may even lead to overtreatment in some cases.Therefore,identifying distinct patient subgroups with varying risks of recurrence and progression,as well as tailoring appropriate clinical management and surveillance strategies for low-risk DCIS,has emerged as a critical area of interest.This review synthesizes recent advances in clinical practice and research to evaluate risk stratification based on pathological features and morphological indicators,with the aim of improving our understanding of the biologi-cal behavior of DCIS and guiding future directions in its management.关键词
