严重精神障碍患者照顾者精神卫生知识知晓情况及影响因素分析
Awareness of Mental Health Knowledge and its Influencing Factors among Caregivers of Patients with Severe Mental Disorders

Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the knowledge of mental health among caregivers of patients with severe mental disorders in Luzhou City,and to analyze the influencing factors,in order to provide data support for the development of targeted health education strategies and optimization of community rehabilitation services.Methods A stratified convenience sampling method was employed to select 452 primary caregivers of individuals with severe mental disorders under management in Luzhou City during 2024 to 2025 as study subjects.A self-developed questionnaire(comprising three sections:patient demographics,caregiver demographics,and mental health knowledge)was administered for a cross-sectional survey.Statistical methods,including chi-square tests and logistic regression analysis,were employed to examine the influence of demographic characteristics and disease-related fac-tors on mental health knowledge awareness among patients and caregivers.Results The overall knowledge of mental health among care-givers of patients with severe mental disorders was 57.5%,with caregiver knowledge of the basic knowledge dimension of the disease(48.5%)being higher than knowledge of the knowledge dimension of treatment and rehabilitation of the disease(39.6%)(χ2=8.642,P=0.003).Caregivers of patients with all six categories of severe mental disorders had low knowledge of mental health,with no statisti-cally significant difference(χ2=7.138,P=0.211),with caregivers of patients with paranoid psychosis having the lowest knowledge rate(46.7%).Caregiver knowledge of mental health was higher in patients without a job(OR=1.708,P=0.018,95%CI:1.096～2.662),patients living with a caregiver(OR=3.425,P=0.016,95%CI:1.263～9.287),and female caregivers(OR=1.488,P=0.042,95%CI:1.015～2.182).Conclusion At present,the awareness rate of mental health knowledge among caregivers of patients with severe mental disorders in Luzhou City is low,with a particularly notable gap in knowledge regarding disease treatment and reha-bilitation.Further analysis revealed that the patient's occupation and living situation,as well as the caregiver's gender,were factors influencing their level of knowledge.In response to this situation,it is imperative to strengthen targeted publicity and health education on mental health treatment and rehabilitation to enhance caregivers'capabilities.关键词
