Abstract
Regarding the issue of cracks in masonry infill walls of steel structures,this paper takes a kindergarten project in a provincial unified loan project for shantytown renovation in a certain city as a case study.It analyzes the mechanism of crack formation,with a focus on exploring the causes of cracks due to the differences in physical properties between steel and masonry materials.Combined with engineering practice,preventive measures are proposed,including the use of ETERPAN cladding to repair exterior wall cracks,flexible materials to treat cracks at the junctions of infill walls with steel beams and columns,and standardized installation of tie bars and reinforcement connections for structural columns.These measures effectively suppress crack propagation,enhance the stability and durability of the wall structure,and meet architectural appearance and regulatory requirements.The research findings provide a reference for preventing and addressing cracks in similar steel structure masonry infill walls.关键词
