Abstract
As a typical representative of juvenile hormone analogs,S-Methoprene achieves targeted control by specifically interfering with the molting cycle of insects.Its low mammalian toxicity and environmental friendliness have been verified through over 50 years of global application.This paper systematically reviews the toxicological mechanisms,toxicological characteristics,and international safety assessment information of S-Methoprene.Combined with its food residue policies established by FAO and the USA,the comprehensive advantages of S-Methoprene in suppressing the reproduction of pests in stored grain,reducing chemical residues,and protecting non-target organisms are discussed.The review provides a scientific basis for the improvement of China's green grain storage technology system and the security of grain supply.关键词
