Abstract

To accurately grasp the quality status of down products in China and propose effective control strategies,this paper systematically reviewed the industry supervision and sampling results,and conducted an in-depth analysis based on measurement data of 6 852 batches of down content and 4 555 batches of fill power.The results showed that the overall qualification rate of the industry has reached a plateau,with quality problems mainly focusing on down content,fill power,oxygen consumption,and label compliance.The data further revealed the quality of goose down and duck down was charac-terized by a"dual-track"characteristic.The quality of goose down was highly concentrated in the high-performance range with a cashmere mass fraction of 85%-95%(accounting for 87.1%)and a fluffy degree of more than 17.0 cm.Duck down is scattered,with medium and low quality accounting for a large proportion,and the problem of"crushed wool"is prominent,which is the main source of quality risk in the industry.The root causes lie in the difference in raw material quality,imbal-anced cost transmission in the industrial chain,divergent quality control capabilities of enterprises,and insufficient regula-tory coverage.It is recommended that the regulatory side implements risk-based precise sampling and builds a digital traceability system,the enterprise side establishes data-driven graded internal control standards and process parameter management,and the industry side promotes the formulation of market-oriented grading standards and certifications to achieve a transformation from scale advantage to quality advantage.
