Abstract
To investigate the stress and strain behavior of the pre-stressed pier for the spillway tunnel intake gate chamber at Bala Hydropower Project during its construction and operation phases,a comprehensive three-dimensional finite element model was developed.By comparing parameters such as the layout of anchor cables and the tensioning tonnage,the study calculated the effective improvement in pier stress and strain under vari-ous working conditions.The optimal layout of the pre-stressed anchor cables for the spillway tunnel gate chamber was ultimately determined.It is expected that the findings from this research will provide a valuable reference for similar engineering projects.关键词
