Abstract

To evaluate the depurative effect of temporary rearing on MC in fish muscle,Cyprinus carpio were reared under conven-tional dissolved oxygen(9 mg·L-1)and high dissolved oxygen(18 mg·L-1)conditions,and changes in body weight and microcystin-RR(MC-RR)content in muscle were monitored.The results showed that under both dissolved oxygen conditions,the cumulative weight loss of C.carpio increased with prolonged rearing time,but the daily weight loss rate continued to decrease.Meanwhile,the MC-RR content in muscle significantly decreased as the temporary rearing time extended.In the conventional dissolved oxygen group,the removal rate of MC-RR was high during the first 5 days,slowed down between days 5 and 15,and reached a plateau after 15 days,with a residual level of approximately 2.490 μg·g-1.The high dissolved oxygen group exhibited a stronger depurative effi-ciency,with the MC-RR content on day 4(2.607 μg·g-1)already lower than that of the conventional dissolved oxygen group on day 10(2.809 μg·g-1).Additionally,the average daily purification rate from day 4 to day 7 reached 0.365 μg·g-1.In conclusion,tempo-rary rearing can effectively reduce MC-RR residues in fish,and high dissolved oxygen conditions further enhance depurative efficien-cy and shorten the depurative cycle,providing a promising technical approach for controlling MC contamination in aquatic products.
