摘要

Abstract

Using 8 mm thick TP316H stainless steel as the research object,process research was conducted by laser deep penetration welding method.Nine groups of process tests were designed,starting with observation of the macroscopic morphology of weld beads to analyze the variation patterns of weld reinforcement,width,and welding undercut defects with laser process parameters.Based on the influence of welding parameters on the macroscopic morphology of weld beads,the optimal process parameters were selected,and the microstructure and mechanical properties of the corresponding welded joints were analyzed.The results show that under the process parameters of laser power 6 kW,welding speed 20 mm/min,defocus amount-4 mm,and laser incidence angle 5°,both the heat‐affected zone and the weld zone of the TP316H stainless steel laser deep penetration welded joint consist of austenitic microstructure;the hardness of the weld zone is the highest,at 210HV10,while the hardness of the base metal zone is the lowest,at 161HV10;the minimum yield strength of the joint at room temperature is 270 MPa;in the face bend and root bend tests of the joint,no cracks were generated on the tensile surfaces;moreover,the joint exhibits good toughness,with the minimum impact absorbed energy in the weld zone being 102 J.These results indicate that laser deep penetration welding is an efficient and high‐quality welding technique for TP316H stainless steel.The study provides a theoretical basis for the application of laser deep penetration welding to stainless steel materials.
