Mechanisms of Yishen Buqi Qiangshen Tea in the treatment of hyperlipidemia:a study based on network pharmacology and animal experiments

Abstract
Objective To clarify the preventive and therapeutic effects of Yishen Buqi Qiangshen Tea(YSBQQST)on hyperlipidemia(HL)and preliminarily elucidate its underlying mechanism through network pharmacology.Methods Network pharmacology was used to predict potential active ingredients and targets of YSBQQST for the treatment of HL.A rat model of HL was established by feeding a high-fat diet,and different doses of YSBQQST were administered for intervention;at the end of the experiment,serum levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),total cholesterol(TC),and triglyceride(TG)were compared among groups,and hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining was used to observe the histopathological morphology of rat heart,liver,and aorta tissues.Results Network pharmacology analysis indicated that the core targets of YSBQQST included tumor necrosis factor(TNF),interleukin(IL)-6,AKT1,ALB,and PPARG,which were significantly enriched in the HIF-1 pathway,PPAR signaling pathway,lipid metabolism processes,and others.Compared with the model group,rats in the YSBQQST groups showed markedly decreased serum levels of LDL-C,TC,and TG,as well as increased HDL-C,and the injured heart and liver tissues were improved to varying degrees.Conclusion YSBQQST may improve disordered lipid metabolism by modulating key targets in the PPAR signaling pathway(such as PPARA)and through antioxidant mechanisms,providing pharmacological evidence for clinical application.关键词
