药食同源中药乌梅相关研究热点及趋势可视化分析
Visual analysis of research hotspots and trends related to Wumei(Mume Fructus):a food-medicine homologous Chinese medicine

Abstract
Objective To conduct a visual analysis of the literature related to Wumei(Mume Fructus)in China and internationally from 2000 to 2025 using CiteSpace and VOSviewer,systematically delineate its development trajectory,identify research hotspots and trends,and provide reference data for future basic research and clinical applications.Methods Chinese and English publications related to Wumei(Mume Fructus)published from January 2000 to September 2025 were retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP Database,Wanfang Data,and Web of Science Core Collection.NoteExpress was used to deduplicate and screen the retrieval results.CiteSpace and VOSviewer were then used to perform knowledge map-based visual analyses of number of publications,authors,institutions,keywords,and other information.Results A total of 653 Chinese-language publications and 82 English-language publications were included.Annual number of publications in both Chinese-and English-language literature showed an overall increasing trend;in the Chinese-language literature,ZHAO Qiong was the most prolific author,and in the English-language literature,a representative author was Jeon Won kyung;co-occurrence analyses of authors and institutions indicated that several mature research teams have been formed in this field,and major research institutions include Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine;keyword analysis indicated that Chinese-language studies focus on Wumei Pills,Wumei(Mume Fructus),Jueyin diseases,whereas English-language studies mostly focus on network pharmacology,active ingredients,and gut-related mechanisms of action.Conclusion Research interest in Wumei(Mume Fructus)and its compound formulations in the prevention and treatment of diseases of the digestive,respiratory,cardiovascular,and endocrine systems continues to increase.With the in-depth application of approaches such as network pharmacology,exploration of modern molecular mechanisms,and data mining,the research pathways for Wumei(Mume Fructus)continue to expand.In the future,interdisciplinary collaboration should be further promoted,and research on its components and mechanisms of action should be strengthened,to provide more persuasive scientific evidence for clinical application and the development of medicated diet products,and to advance the translational development of Wumei(Mume Fructus)in clinical application and medicated diet development.关键词
