Development and Reliability and Validity Test of Continuous Nursing Service Demand Scale for Patients After Cardiac Valve Surgery

Abstract
Objective To develop a continuous nursing service demand scale for patients after cardiac valve surgery,and to test its reliability and validity.Methods The first draft of the scale was formed through literature review,semi-structured interview,Delphi expert consultation and pre-survey.Convenience sampling was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 206 patients after cardiac valve surgery to evaluate the reliability and validity of the scale.Results The continuing care needs scale for patients after cardiac valve surgery included 16 items in 3 dimensions.The scale-level content validity index(S-CVI)was 0.875,and the item-level content validity index(I-CVI)of each item was 0.818-1.000.The first exploratory factor analysis was carried out without limiting the number of factors,and four common factors were obtained,with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 76.453%.Three common factors were extracted according to the gravel map,and the second exploratory factor analysis was carried out.The cumulative variance contribution rate was 70.037%.The final formal scale contains 3 dimensions and 16 items.The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.918,and the Cronbach's α coefficient of each dimension was 0.812-0.917.Conclusion The transitional care needs scale for patients after cardiac valve surgery has good reliability and validity,and can be used as an appropriate tool to evaluate the transitional care needs of such patients.关键词
