Abstract
YE Tianshi's"method of tonifying and replenishing the liver and kidney"has demonstrated favorable therapeutic effects in treating consumptive diseases,particularly those with yin deficiency of the liver and kidney pattern.Given that consumptive diseases often follow a prolonged course and patients typically exhibit constitutional weakness,making aggressive medicinal intervention unsuitable,food and medicine homologous substances—with their minimal side effects,gentle action,and unique therapeutic properties—emerge as an ideal treatment choice.By reviewing relevant medical records in the Lin Zheng Zhi Nan Yi An(A Guide to Clinical Practice with Medical Records)this study summarizes YE Tianshi's systematic medicated diet compatibility model This model is predicated on"preserving stomach qi",with"replenishing yin with rich-flavored substances"and"tonifying the essence and blood with animal-derived substances"as its core principles,"subduing yang with shellfish-based substances"and"consolidating with sour-astringent substances"as collaborative strategies,"guiding with salty-flavored substances"as a guiding approach,and"extinguishing wind with sweet-flavored substances"as a concluding measure.The research investigates the application philosophy of food and medicine homologous substances in YE's medical cases for consumptive diseases.The study reveals that based on theories such as"like attracts like"and"flavor turns to form",YE Tianshi emphasized the critical role of food and medicine homologous substances in replenishing essence,blood,and physical constitution.His therapeutic system is well-structured,methodical,and rigorously defined.It not only deepens the theoretical framework of differentiating and treating consumptive diseases in Chinese medicine but also provides a theoretical foundation and practical reference for modern medicated diet therapy and the development of functional foods for chronic consumptive diseases.关键词
