Abstract
Liver diseases have emerged as a significant global public health challenge,with the size of high-risk populations continuously expanding.The TCM theory of"preventive treatment of disease,"characterized by its proactive prevention philosophy of"preventing disease before it occurs,intercepting its progression before it manifests,and halting its deterioration once it has developed,"demonstrates substantial value in liver disease prevention.Food-medicine homology formulations,as a crucial vehicle for practicing the"preventive treatment of disease"concept,offer advantages in terms of safety,cultural acceptability,and policy support,providing a sustainable preventive pathway for high-risk populations of liver diseases.Based on the"preventive treatment of disease'theory,this paper systematically reviews the theoretical compatibility,pattern identification-based intervention pathways,and practical challenges of food-medicine homology formulations in liver disease prevention,while exploring their application potential and development directions.关键词
