Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and HIV infection:Potential links in immune regulation
摘要
Abstract
Wnt signaling pathway consists of Wnt ligands,receptors,and their downstream signaling molecules,with signal transduction modes divided into classical and non-classical pathways.It plays a role in various processes within the immune system,including the regulation of immune cell development,survival and immune responses.Research has found that abnormal regulation of classical Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is closely associated with human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infection.After β-catenin entering the cell,through its nuclear transcription factor T cell factor(TCF),plays a crucial role in regulating the number and func-tion of immune cells in HIV-infected individuals,HIV viral latency and reactivation,HIV viral replication,and the occurrence of fer-roptosis in cells.This article summarizes the interrelated mechanisms among Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway,ferroptosis and HIV within the context of HIV infection.关键词
