Biological functions of Bacillus subtilis and its application to animal production
摘要
Abstract
Bacillus subtilis is a Gram-positive bacterium with strong adaptability and colonization ability.It is added to animal feed in the form of spores,and can be rapidly recovered and reproduced after entering the animal intestinal tract.It has the functions of regulating intestinal flora,enhancing intestinal barrier and immune function,and can also alleviate the damage caused by heat stress and oxidative stress on the animal body,which is of great significance to animal production.In this paper,the biological properties and functions of Bacillus subtilis and its research on animal production were reviewed,aimed to provide reference for the application of Bacillus subtilis in animal production practice.关键词
