The Status and New Technologies/Applications of China's X-ray Tube Industry

Abstract
X-ray tubes have a long history and are widely used,playing an extremely important role in scien-tific research,industry,medical care,and security fields.This article begins with a brief introduction of the history and technological development of X-ray tubes,as well as their evolution in China.The analysis is organized ac-cording to four major industries and 18 subdivided application directions.For various X-ray applications,it includes the technical characteristics,market scale and size,market share distribution between domestic and international brands,potential technical directions for improvement,market prospects and opportunities.The article addresses in-novation trends in the X-ray tube field,with a focus on representative technologies such as cold-cathode X-ray tubes and distributed X-ray tubes.It particularly highlights the industry progress and technical features of cold-cath-ode X-ray tubes,providing an in-depth analysis of their developments and characteristics.It further explores inno-vative applications of X-ray tubes,using pet healthcare,food foreign object detection,and ore analysis/sorting as examples,detailing their respective technical features,reasons for emergence,social value,and development pros-pects.Overall,China's X-ray tube industry boasts large-scale production,a solid foundation,and has achieved an annual production volume exceeding 220,000 tubes,with an annual output value of approximately 10 billion yuan and related complete equipment output reaching 100 billion yuan.Significant breakthroughs have been achieved in high-end technologies,including high-power industrial tubes,micro-focus tubes,and liquid metal bearing CT tubes.Some new technologies and applications are at the international forefront,indicating that the industry is poised to embrace new opportunities for high growth.关键词
