Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]The integrated reform of education,science and technology,and talent system is a new directive and requirement set forth by the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Com-mittee.At present,foundational strengths coexist with practical challenges,making it urgent to identify a break-through to drive this reform effectively.[Method/Process]Drawing on empirical analysis,this paper argues for the feasibility of using higher engineering education as the entry point for advancing the integrated reform.The argument is constructed from perspectives including practical support,frontier deployment,and leveraging syner-gies.[Result/Conclusion]The study finds that positioning higher engineering education as the"pilot area"to lead the integrated reform necessitates a focused push for systematic transformations within institutional mechanisms.This entails establishing a practical pathway characterized by interdisciplinary integration,institutional synergy,ecosystem collaboration,and strategic leadership.The ultimate goal is to leverage the integrated synergy of educa-tion,sci-tech,and talents to effectively support the development of a modern,powerful education system contrib-uting to Chinese modernization.关键词
