Abstract
The stilted houses of the Tujia ethnic group in Xiangxi are a typical representative of traditional architecture of ethnic minorities in southern China.Their architectural form is a multi-cultural fusion developed on the basis of the"ganlan-style"architecture,reflecting the adaptability of the Tujia people in Xiangxi to the natural environment,social culture and economic conditions during their survival process.This study adopts the literature analysis method to sort out the historical evolution of the cultural exchanges and interactions between the stilted houses of the Tujia ethnic group in Xiangxi and other ethnic groups during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,as well as the impact of modern urbanization civilization and new materials and technologies on their form.On the basis of protecting the traditional construction techniques and cultural connotations of the stilted houses,it explores the balance strategy between modern living needs and cultural inheritance.关键词
