E-commerce Development Empowers Rural Revitalization:Theoretical Mechanism and Empirical Test
摘要
Abstract
The development of e-commerce has significantly promoted rural revitalization,and the conclusion is still valid after alleviating endogenous problems and robustness tests with the instrumental variable method.The increase of income of agricultural products processing enterprises above designated size and the improvement of agricultural labor productivity play a channel role in the impact of e-com-merce development on regional rural revitalization;heterogeneity analysis shows that the promotion effect of e-commerce development on rural revitalization is more obvious in eastern and western provinces and provinces with high transportation infrastructure level.The mechanism test further finds that the improve-ment of the institutional environment can significantly enhance the driving effect of e-commerce develop-ment on rural revitalization.关键词
