摘要

Abstract

Because of their rich resources and strong adaptability,various native grass species have gradually received attention for green grass blanket preparation.To select suitable grass species for green grass blanket preparation in northern Shaanxi,11 grass species,including Potentilla chinensis,Poa pratensis,Achnatherum splendens,Lythrum salicaria,Coronailla varia,Salvia japonica,Melilotus officinalis,Puccinellia distans,Sophora alopecuroides,Thymus mongolicus,and Linum usitatissimum,were examined in this study.Eight indicators,namely,density,color,texture,uniformity,aboveground biomass,underground biomass,grass blanket formation time,and growth rate,were measured to evaluate grass blanket quality.The average membership function values for the 11 grass species,ordered from large to small,are as follows:A.splendens(0.74),P.pratensis(0.70),L.usitatissimum(0.64),M.officinalis(0.62),P.distans(0.57),P.chinensis(0.44),T.mongolicus(0.44),C.varia(0.36),L.salicaria(0.28),S.japonica(0.27),and S.alopecuroides(0.21).Based on the result,A.splendens,P.pratensis,and L.usitatissimum are three best grass species that can be used for green grass blanket preparation in northern Shaanxi.Therefore,this result provides a scientific basis for the use of local grass species for green grass blanket preparation in northern Shaanxi.
