The Development and Practice of Phenomenology in Modern and Contemporary Architecture

Abstract
After the crisis of rationalism,the architectural field shifted its focus to philosophy in search of theoretical support to redefine the essence of architecture.In this context,architecture and phenomenology gradually merged,ultimately giving rise to a new wave of thought—architectural phenomenology.This paper outlines the philosophical background,developmental schools,representative figures,and key ideas of architectural phenomenology.Supported by architectural case studies,it explores the design thinking within architectural phenomenology and reveals how it reconstructs the relationship between humans and space through the"spirit of place"and"sensory experience".关键词
