Study on the Characteristics and Detection Techniques of the Bearing Layer of Large-Diameter Pile Foundations in Coastal Areas of China

Abstract
This paper summarizes the characteristics and detection techniques of the bearing layer of large-diameter pile foundations in coastal areas.Firstly,the characteristics of the bearing layer of large-diameter pile foundations in coastal areas are analyzed,including geological composition,physical and mechanical properties of soil layers,and the influence of groundwater.This paper explores the impact and engineering properties of common soft soil layers,sandy soil layers,and silty soil layers in coastal areas on the bearing layer of pile foundations.Next,the detection technology for the bearing layer of large-diameter pile foundations in coastal areas is elaborated in detail.This paper introduces the commonly used methods for pile foundation testing,such as static load testing,dynamic testing(including low strain method and high strain method),acoustic transmission method,core drilling method,etc.,and analyzes the applicability and limitations of these technologies in coastal areas.Finally,the current research status and development trend of the characteristics and detection technology of the bearing layer of the large-diameter pile foundations in coastal areas are summarized.It is pointed out that with the continuous progress of engineering technology and the increasingly improved detection methods,the characteristics of the bearing layer of large-diameter pile foundations in coastal areas and their detection technology will be further and systematically studied,providing more reliable technical support for the engineering practice.关键词
