Abstract
To address the increasing demands for seismic protection and the high post-earthquake repair costs of conventional structures,a self-resetting energy dissipation damper based on shape memory alloy(SMA)materials is proposed.This innovative damping device effectively controls structural residual displacements after earthquakes by leveraging the unique properties of SMA materials to achieve autonomous resetting function,significantly reducing structural maintenance costs.A numerical simulation study was conducted by using ABAQUS finite element software to investigate the seismic performance and design optimization strategies of a novel SMA self-setting energy dissipation damper.And combined with the calculation and simulation values of SMA metal self resetting energy dissipation dampers,the research was conducted on the structural design and theoretical analysis of the dampers.By calculating their hysteresis curves and stress cloud maps,their self resetting performance was verified.The numerical simulation results demonstrate that under small displacement amplitudes,the damper maintains stable hysteretic characteristics in both tension and compression modes,with a residual deformation rate below 5%,indicating excellent self-resetting capability.关键词
