Abstract

Currently,non-line-of-sight(NLOS)target imaging methods generally map blind processing of multipath echoes into images based on all propagation paths,leading to a large number of ghost images around the target due to multipath interference.A single-channel ultra-wideband radar NLOS target imaging method based on salient path selection and multi-station collaboration is proposed for this issue.First,a multipath propagation model is established based on an L-shaped building scenario and the distribution changes of ghost images in existing blind processing imaging methods are analyzed under different station conditions,thereby demonstrating the feasibility of using multi-station integration to improve imaging quality.On this basis,the ghosting problem is addressed from the signaling and imaging aspects.At the signal aspect,for the average-cancelled echo signal,multi-cycle incoherent accumulation is conducted to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the echo signal.Subsequently,a constant false alarm rate detection is used to select significant paths with strong signals,suppressing some ghost interferences.At the image aspect,the differences in ghost positions in the imaging results of significant paths from each station are further utilized,employing multiplicative fusion to suppress ghost interference at these different positions.The experimental results show that in the single-target scenario,the three ghost interferences generated by traditional imaging methods are completely eliminated after processing with the proposed method.In the dual-target scenario,the proposed method successfully removes the original four ghost interferences.
