Improved Target Detection Algorithm Based on Adaptive Tunable Q-factor Wavelet Transform

Abstract
For the difficulty of target detection in the process of radar sea detection,an improved target detection algorithm based on adaptive tunable Q-factor wavelet transform(A-TQWT)is proposed.Firstly,the adaptive parameters of the radar echo data are calculated,and the obtained parameters are used to perform the TQWT on the echo,and the wavelet coefficients are sparsely optimized.Secondly,an energy-kurtosis feature(EKF)is proposed to distinguish the energy distribution characteristics of the wavelet coefficients corresponding to the target and sea clutter,and the EKF value of each wavelet coefficient is calculated.Finally,a threshold calculation method is proposed to distinguish the EKF value of the target and the sea clutter,and the wavelet coefficients corresponding to the target EKF value are extracted to reconstruct the target.Experiments on the measured data show that compared with the existing sea clutter suppression algorithm based on the TQWT,the proposed algorithm can still achieve high detection performance at the signal-to-clutter ratio of-16 dB to-10 dB,and the detection probability reaches 1 at-10 dB.关键词
